What a lovely night light with a pale pinkish glow! The bulb base is pink with an on/off switch. The pictured product shows the nightlight against a black background. However, when I plugged it in, I noticed there is a moderate amount of backlighting that fans out from behind, especially if situated against a pale colored wall, partly because the nightlight is not quite as curved as some. To reduce this, I may replace the existing clear bulb with a pink or white opaque one. I have it in the kitchen, where this slightly brighter nightlight seems to work best. My particular taste in nightlights is "the dimmer the better", but it really is quite pretty and I would buy it again.
These pretty night lights have been my "go to gift" for years. Everyone who has ever revived them loves it! You won't go wrong with this one.
Wow, I bought two styles of Ibis and Orchid nightlights. I'd never seen them and relied on the photos, descriptions and reviews. Both are so pretty in the daytime and beautiful at night. They were gifts for my sister and she loves them. Such a nice gift!
