We've had RoomMates wall decals for several years and never had any problems. My daughter loved the dolphins and vibrant colors on this one. So I ordered it thinking all wall decals are the same. Big mistake!It arrived without any packaging, in a box with a heavier item, all creased up. The decals were not cut well. Some were cut through all the way, making them hard to detach from the backing. Some were not cut through enough, making it hard to detach from the adhesive sheet. One was even partially ripped.We have bumpy walls and these seem to have a hard time adhering. Detachment seems inevitable. When we tried to rub out the small air pockets, the coloring started coming off. Several of the fish were facing the wrong direction. So if you apply this according to the sample they provide, you'll have 2-3 fish going belly-up!Honestly, this is the kind of quality I'd expect from a mall kiosk. But nowadays, those mall kiosk operators are probably the same people selling on Amazon Marketplace.
We bought this for a friend's daughter who LOVES dolphins. I saw it up on her ocean blue bedroom wall the other day and it looks really cute. She made a coral reef at the head of the bed with all of the little pieces, and the fish and dolphins are swimming around above it.Any kid who loves the ocean would love to have this in their room. The price is great and the commitment is small. If they change their mind in a year, you just peel them off!
I ordered this in combination with another undersea theamed sticker set. These are kind of see thru so mixed with the othet one it gives the illusion of depth.
These are amazing wall stickers, and SO easy to apply! I removed and re-applied several times (because I wanted to space them out differently), so you don't have to worry about them ripping or sticking together. I bought them to create a "sea life" theme in our childrens' jack and jill bathroom. The colors are so vibrant, and immediately transformed the area around their bathtub. I am going to buy more to put around the mirror/sink area. My daughter LOVED the dolphins, and the coral adds a perfect, realistic touch. I did not want to buy something too whimsical, thinking that they may not like it as they get older. Again, great product!
These wall stickers worked great. They've been up through summer heat and winter cool with no peeling. They were a cinch to apply and look really cool.
