I had my doubts. But I have none now. I have a heavy leather sofa with plastic tipped feet that slide on our oak floors with any movement. The slipstick anchored it in place after a 30 second installation. Faster if you have someone to lift. I was afraid the weight would be to much for the coasters, but they are really solid, and I won't have any problem with breakage. The rubber grippers just will not allow the sofa to move at all. I couldn't be happier.
This product is the best available for protecting hardwood and laminate floors and keeping furniture in one place.
I have a bedroom with finished hardwood floors and beds with 2" barrell type casters. The beds moved quite freely every time one would get in or out of it scuffing up the floor and marking the painted walls. The "caster gripper" has stopped the beds in their tracks. No movement at all. Caramel color blends well with the finished floor. This product is a great find and I highly recommend it.
Don't hesitate to buy these! They work great! My furniture FINALLY stays in place when the kids "plop" down on the sofas!
These grips work great for our recliner. It had been sliding back when you get out of the chair. These grips keep it firmly in place on the wood floor. I would definitely recommend these "Leg Coasters".
I was using felt for my couch legs on my new wood floors and it just moved all over the place. I bought these and now it doesn't. I have checked my floor and no marks or dents. I am very happy with this product. The hard choice was between this product and the CB605. I bought each and I use both on my sectional (as it has 8 legs). They are both the same size, the difference is these are a flat cup and the 605's are a rounded cup allowing wheels to sit in the center of the cup. For me both work as my legs have plastic floor protectors (what a joke) nailed into the bottom of my legs and they just sit in the center of the 605s. I would think any size of this product would work well as long as you measured correctly.
