LDR 551 P1200CP Deluxe Soap/Lotion Dispenser for Kitchen or Lavatory Sink, Chrome Reviews
I have replaced so many of these I was ready to subscribe to the, "Lotion Dispenser of the Month" club. They all seemed to disintegrate in similar fashion as well. Meaning, there's a plastic piece in the nozzle that serves as a choke for the soap flow and to keep it from dripping out when not in use. Time and time again these plastic pieces would fail or pop out. I'm happy to say that with this dispenser it seems someone got it right finally. And it's all accomplished with a simple, elegant design. First off, there is no plastic choke in the tube. It's simply a tube with a hole in it. By angling the tube slightly upwards this allows for gravity to keep the soap from dripping. So with a simple tube and a little help from gravity I think they've found a successful design. The flow is tremendous on this pump as well. A full *pump* will get you a significant amount of soap. So you can actually adjust by feel how much soap you want to come out. And since the flow is so unrestricted, this pump will pump dish-soap with no issues it all. It scoffs at dish-soap.If something horrifying should go wrong I'll be back. But as of now, I couldn't be happier with this pump.
I have bought hundreds, if not thousands, of items from Amazon, and I usually don't write reviews unless they exceed way above my expectations. Let me tell you, I was terribly disappointed with a Kraus soap dispenser as it wouldn't dispense thick or think dish soap. I bought this LDR 551 P120CP after reading reviews, but I was still skeptic about it working. It works wonderfully every time to a slight push and works with any thickness of any dish soap.
Love the LDR dispenser! It is tough to find one that is Stainless Steel and not plastic.Spout is not as long (it is 3" not 4") as diagram I first saw on Amazon, but it works fine.I hooked it up to the 'NEVER M-T' so I can hook up to Quart or Gallon soap bottle and don't haveto refill little bottle that comes with dispenser.Great Product and nice clean modern lines.
Stainless finish is a perfect match for stainless faucet. Quality is on par with all the top name brands.
This is definitely a 5-star product in design and function, and it's also priced really well. I've been using it for a long while now, and have no problems with pumping or dripping. It dispenses just the right amount of the liquid soap at just the right pressure.Refilling it is super easy, just take off the cap, and large opening is very pour-friendly. I also appreciate its sleek appearance: it fit in my existing decor flawlessly. Stainless steel furnish makes it easy to clean, and there's no issues with tarnish or rust. All in all a perfect pump. The best!!
