I've had this cabinet on the patio, housing my stereo, wireless music receiver and a subwoofer for about 8 years now. Holds an audio receiver perfectly and I use the bottom shelf to keep the sub off the bottom. Water never gets inside even during heavy Michigan rain. My stereo is approx. 20 years old and still going strong inside this cabinet. Plug a hole in the back for wires. When winter comes I put the cabinet on the dolly with everything inside and store it. My only gripe is that it stains over time and won't come clean even with a power washer and a brush. Regardless I'm buying a new one but only for asthetic purposes.
The top bows in with anything heavier than a few ounces put on it. Should have been been manufactured with a rib/stringer or two to stiffen it up.
It's a simple 3 level shelf with doors made awesome because it goes with the drawer and cabinet of the same series. It was easy to put together and the shelves can be moved around. I've used mine for almost a year and never had a problem. I own the entire series and am very glad to have bought them, mostly because they go together like legos and hold alot of stuff. They have yet to break down or otherwise disappoint me. Their only con is they can be very difficult to maneuver around once they have stuff on/in them. If they came in black then they would be %100 perfect :)
I have one of the 4 shelf utility cabinets and two of the two shelf base cabinets. I used these to replace open shelving which looked incredibly cluttered at all times. These make for a much cleaner, neater, look!These seem to be quite sturdy. Assembly was not difficult. No tools needed. These cabinets are more than worth their cost.
This cabinet is much bigger then expected , holds a lot of stuff ! You can also use a standard padlock on this making it perfect for keeping chemicals out of the reach of curious toddlers .
Great cabinet. Fairly easy to put together. Lightweight so you can move it around. Adjustable shelves. It's just what I needed. I'll probably be ordering another one.
