This is a very functional little welding cart. Good construction, takes about 20-30 minutes to assemble and does it's job wellIt just needs a HANDLE.If you're trying to wrestle this thing around with a wire welder and gas bottle on it, it's NOT friendly. A HANDLE would fix that easily.Guess I'll have to WELD one in place...
The cart is ok for someone with small hobbies. The hardware to put the cart together is lacking. Most of the screws stripped out while putting it together. I re-drilled the holes and used 1/4 inch bolts instead of the cheap screws. This made the cart sturdier.It would be nice if the cart had a handle on the front of it to move it around while welding, but hey, it is for a welder, so I will weld on my own handle : )In the end you get what you pay for. The cart was cheap so I was not expecting much. If it gives me too much trouble then I will just make my own cart...haha
my hobart 140 fits on it and it works, it takes a medium tank for the gas but i use flux core usually anyway. i do wish it was a bit taller.
Hey, what can I say, it's a cart. However I was looking for a small cart that would handle a Hobart 140, tank and fit under a cabinet. Does exactly all of the above for me and wheels around the garage, so 5 stars it gets!
This cart has worked well with my Hobart 140. There is adequate space on the lower shelf for storing the cables as well as tools, magnets, etc. Assembly takes about an hour of so. My only complaint is that I think it is overpriced for you get.
