TCP DuraBright 68923B10 23W Spiral Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb, 10-Pack, Soft White Reviews

    1. These are great! they pop right on almost to full light output and they have the same light spectrum as a regular bulb. They are a relatively small form factor and so the shape hides within a normal light bulb bobeche/shade. I've had them installed for about a month so cant say anything about their longevity. Since I have 10 of them I should know pretty soon if they are reliable. I have them installed in a three triple lamps in my bathroom and they make the room very bright, for only 200 watts vs 900! By my estimation, they will pay for themselves in about 4 months

    2. Having bought a few packages of these, I won't be doing so again. My incandescent bulbs in the same sockets tend to outlast them; the electronic ballast seems to self-destruct after a year or two. And the "daylight" color temperature (about 5000K) seems to actually refer to a fairly blue, traditionally fluorescent tone.
