   This is a two-piece pressed-in shower head. Because it's two pieces, using high water volume will make it leak along the pressed in point (which means water comes out of the top of the fixture rather than the bottom). The first time this happened, we thought it was a defective showerhead. However the replacement did the same exact thing which the plumber said was a common failure of pressed fixtures.    We did a complete remodel of the bathroom in our vintage home and thought this overhead rain showerhead would really be great. Though it is a nice looking unit it does not perform very well at all. Instead of giving you the feeling of being out in the rain it's much more like standing under a misting machine due to so little water coming out of it, it takes forever to get rinsed off after you've soaped up, overall it does not make for a satisfying shower experience. Also, I was a little disappointed after buying an AMERICAN STANDARD product that when I took it out of the box it said; Made in China.

   I spent hours looking for the perfect shower head for my new shower remodel. This one was exactly what I was looking for. It looks great, but it leaks from the ball joint area. It seems to be a recurring issue with this shower head.

   I can't recommend this shower head because it leaks along the outside edge. When purchased, it worked great, but over time, the top (domed) portion started separating from the lower (jet spray) flat surface--causing it to spray water upward onto the ceiling of my shower. I'll be trying the Moen 6320 next, since it received relatively good reviews, is similarly priced, and also has a wide (8"+) surface head.

   Very well made, quite heavy, and u need to buy an extension piece to properly position this head. It is like raoin and takes getting used to. Not a powerr driven water system unless I replumb with 1" in feed pipe.
