QEP 50-545 Traction Non-Slip Rug Holding Strip with Rubber Rhino-Skin, 25 Foot Roll Reviews

    1. Don't use this stuff! I used this tape in just a few places in short pieces and I regret every inch of it. On top of the fact that it doesn't really stick well (I used it on clean hardwood floor,) it DOES NOT COME OFF! Contrary to the package which says no cleanup needed, I have learned of only one product that will remove it, called "Goo Gone." I was renting this house, and when I moved out, I could not get it off with anything that usually gets sticky stuff off. I'm a retired teacher, and have spent many hours removing scotch tape and masking tape from desks and tables. The only thing that works is Goo Gone, but that stuff is very toxic. So if you want to hold your carpets in place, find some other way. As it is, my landlord might really ding me on returning my security deposit because of this awful, falsely advertised product. DON'T USE IT!!

    2. Completely useless, it takes more than a whole role to do an area rug according to the package recommendations and it does nothing to stop carpet creep on carpet... it may work better on hard floor, but if you're looking for a carpet on carpet use, this isn't the product for you either.

    3. Excellent product to prevent rug to slip on wood floor. The rubber Rhino-skin is really works well. I strongly recommend the product.

    4. This may work well to keep a carpet from creeping on a wood floor, but didn't work to keep a carpet on carpet from continuing to creep. Still looking for a solution.

    5. I just tried this strip to keep an area rug in place over carpeting. I following the instructions exactly. Supposedly, when you walk on the rug, some kind of adhesive is released to keep the rug in place. I tried this but there was absolutely no adhesion of the rug to the carpet. It moved around like it did before I tried the strip. I suggest using a double-sided tape instead. Then you will be sure to get the adhesion you need.

    6. Waste of money. I was able to use it on about one and a half rugs. I was surprised at how quickly I ran out of tape. It also didn't help keep my rugs in place, AT ALL.
