This measures in inches and mm, it is not accurate, the mm scale is off by a little over one mm which is a problem for small measurements which is why I bought it!

On a positive note, the item was shipped quickly and well-packaged.However, the overall quality of the caliper was very low. For the following reasons:1. The markings are difficult to read.2. The slide was loose and would not hold when opened beyond 1/2 inch.3. There is no marker on the scale for reading inner dimensions.I will be returning the item for a refund as the item is not suitable for any of the household tasks that I could imagine.
