2in. x 3in. mirror with 16in. extension lets you look behind and around things. Swivel ball joint and vinyl grip. U.S.A. best chef s knife : Empire Level 27186 Rectangular Telescoping Inspection Mirror>Compare Prices<
The mirror size on this item is just right for most of my needs. The telescoping rod and the angle adjustment both hold their position without being too difficult to adjust. A slip cover to protect the glass from scratches in the tool bag would be nice but the competition doesn't have a cover, either.
Being a Gear Head kind of guy this is a godsend type of tool! Great for getting to see stuff behind cabinets too! Good little square mirror tool I keep you close in a drawer so I can always use you one day more....
What more can a mirror do but reflect? This one does that just fine, and at a bargain price. High enough quality to do the job fine, cheap enough that I don't worry about breaking or losing it.
I bought this for work because I was in great need of it. It began to lose a tight grip on its moving parts quite quickly. The final flaw was the fact that despite the surface area apparent and available, the mirror was attached to the handle by solder less than a millimeter in diameter. The mirror twisted right off during the course of normal use, not rigorous in any way. I liked the large size of the mirror, but it was very poorly constructed.
I keep one of these in each tool box. The price was better than at the local auto parts store and this one extends a little longer as well. It holds position and there's a screw adjustment if it gets sloppy. Most of the time anything smaller is useless. Some day I'll buy an inspection camera, but they don't have the field of vision this does and sometimes you need the broader perspective.
